The Platform

One platform.One continuous loop.

Migraine care usually resets at every appointment. Modner's platform is built to do the opposite — to carry what's learned about a patient forward, so each decision is better informed than the last.

01|The closed loop

How it works

01

Onboard & track

A patient begins using Calmside at their clinic visit. Between appointments, they log episodes, symptoms, and suspected triggers as they happen — by voice, in the moment — instead of recalling it all in a rushed history.

02

Identify triggers

The app turns everyday logging into a clear, individual picture of what tends to set off each patient's migraines. The clinician sees a structured summary instead of a fragmented story.

03

Build a personalized pathway

Working from that picture, the clinician builds a structured plan: remove the identified triggers first, treat what remains, and escalate only when needed. The plan is the clinician's — the platform informs it, never overrides it.

04

Monitor & refine

As the patient continues, the platform tracks how the plan is actually working. Early signals of non-response surface sooner, so the plan can be adjusted before months are lost. The loop closes, and begins again — sharper each time.

The clinician stays the final decision-maker at every step.

Calmside

The app patients live with

Calmside is the patient’s side of the platform. It replaces slow, recall-based history-taking with real-time logging that fits into daily life. A voice-first assistant, Lumi, helps patients capture episodes in the moment and see their own patterns emerge — with a calm, low-glare interface for people often logging mid-migraine.

Lumi supports the patient. It never diagnoses and never prescribes. What it gathers becomes clear, structured information for the treating clinician.

Auriva — a compact taVNS wearable stimulator applied at the ear

Auriva

Pilot stage

The device

Auriva is Modner’s transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) device — a compact, wearable stimulator applied at the ear. Within a personalized pathway, it offers clinicians a non-drug option that can be used on its own or alongside medication, according to the plan they set.

Auriva is an investigational device, currently for pilot use only. It is not approved for commercial sale. Its clinical rationale is described on the Science & Evidence page.

Data, privacy & trust

Built to be trusted with clinical data

Modner is built for the standard of care and confidentiality that migraine patients and their clinicians expect. The platform is designed for compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection framework, on a consent-first basis. Patient data is used to inform that patient’s own care; any use of data for research is strictly opt-in, with clear, separate consent.
